We don't have to do everything ourselves.
We believe families and communities are stronger when people and organisations work together. CWTFAM partners with organisations who are like-minded in heart — who share our vision to see families grow, feel supported, and have access to what they need to live well: eating well, learning well, and having someone who will walk with them through the unknown.
That might mean working alongside people who help with food and health, mentoring and education, or personal development and community support. Sometimes it means delivering something together. Sometimes it means simply making sure a family or young person is connected with the people best placed to guide them through difficulty, and welcome them through times of isolation.
As those relationships grow, we hope to help build stronger support networks around the people and communities we're here to serve.

Parenting Programs
For parents and guardians of young people aged 12–25.
These sessions are connected to the books in our series, and to the major themes within them — a chance to go deeper into the ideas than reading alone allows.
They give people space to explore the concepts more deeply, ask questions, reflect on their own experience, and think through how to actually put what they're learning into practice at home.
Sessions are delivered in person, in small groups, in a range of settings. They can run as a one-off, but where possible we prefer a multi-session approach — people need more than an hour to really sit with this material.
This isn't about teaching people how to parent. It's about creating space to learn, reflect, talk, and try things differently.
What this can look like
- –Better conversations between parents and young people
- –Greater confidence for parents
- –Parents understanding their children differently
- –Practical changes at home
- –Stronger family relationships
Educational Workshops
Broader than the parenting programs, these are practical, hands-on sessions people can actually take away and use — some connected to themes in the book series, others built around specific everyday skills like healthy food and cooking.
Community Conversations
This is how we work alongside other organisations and communities — sometimes because an organisation reaches out and asks us to bring a workshop or activity to their community, sometimes because we've built an event of our own around a particular topic or need.
Either way, people aren't just sitting and listening. Whether someone's a volunteer, a facilitator or a participant, the learning is practical and hands-on — a chance to learn, share, ask questions, try things out, and build real connections.
The Book Series
The work started with conversations. Those conversations became a book. And the ideas in the book are what's informing everything we're building now.
The books aren't a standalone product sitting off to the side — they're part of the foundation. They introduce the ideas and conversations that then get explored further through parenting programs, workshops and community events.
